CCS – The Best Band In The Land

59,99

The third and final album of Alexis Korner’s big band project which provided high energy brass loaded cover versions of temporary rock songs. This time they mix in some band’s own material as well mostly written by John Cameron, the man responsible for the brass arrangements. Like on the band’s other albums, the performance is very good and enjoyable, it was the lack of original material that never gave them the success that other bands at the time like Chicago Transit Authority or Blood, Sweat & Tears had.
