Greenslade – Time And Tide

49,99

As the 4th album for the English prog-rock band, Greenslade is a fitting coda to their 1970s career. They really shine on the instrumental numbers on this album in their Canterbury-scene-inflected art-rock. Greenslade’s high energy comes across, and the interplay of keyboards, strings and choir are able to elevate them above the more mundane symphonic rockers of the time.

Not only is the music ear-catching, but the illustrations on the cover, of a multi-armed fantastical musician, holding the theatrical masks of comedy and tragedy, not only scream of 1970s progressive rock, but they also show how you can complement your vinyl album with large drawings that attract the listener’s visual attention as well as their aural attention.
