Massive Attack ‎– Live At Royal Albert Hall 1998

199,99

Here’s a thrilling blast from the past: a vintage live recording of Massive Attack in concert at the Royal Albert Hall, during the tour to promote their 1998 full-length Mezzanine. Featuring a number of regular collaborators – most notably Horace Andy – and a rather fine band to help turn their sample-heavy productions into stunning live tracks, Live At Royal Albert captures Massive Attack at their mesmerizing best. The live re-imaginings of “Karmakoma”, “Risingson” and “Spying Glass” (the latter sounding like a paranoid, if soulful, dub reggae classic) are particularly potent, while “Safe From Harm” benefits greatly from some aggressive, axe-wielding, guitar solo action. Superb stuff.
